Commercial vehicle hire contract owners and car leasing customers who send drivers through or are based in Wales may be pleased to learn that the country's government is allocating £2.7m to tackle problems caused by potholes.
The recent snow and icy weather has caused swathes of potholes to appear on roads all over Wales.
People running a commercial vehicle hire or car leasing contract can suffer financially as a result of potholes, with damage to tyres, wheels and suspension all common.
But the £2.7m handed out to local authorities by the Welsh government could go some way to easing the problem.
The government's first minister Ieuan Jones said: "[The money] will allow them to tackle the potholes left by the recent adverse weather and to continue the progress they have made to date maintaining the road network."
The snow last February caused a 40% rise in the number of potholes and a 250% increase in car insurance claims, according to the AA.
