Fleet solutions bosses 'should limit speed of young drivers'

Young men in Scotland, Sheffield and Swindon could be amongst the most risky appointments fleet solutions bosses could make to their team of drivers.
Research by moneysupermarket.com reveals those aged between 17 and 21 in Milngavie and East Dumbartonshire in Scotland are most likely to be convicted of a speeding offence.
They are closely followed by men aged 31 to 40 in the Yorkshire and Wiltshire towns respectively.
Peter Rodger, chief examiner at the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM), says: "The industry needs to work with those already trying to find ways of improving young male drivers' skills and behaviour on the road and to invest in their driver education."
That could include those in charge of a commercial contract hire programmes running safety courses or emphasising the need to slow down to younger members of their driving force.
Results of the price comparison site's study back up the conclusions of IAM, which last week said young drivers are twice as likely to crash as older ones.
