Drivers of company cars may talk to their autos
It may not be unusual for drivers of company cars to talk to their autos, if a new poll is anything to go by.
A survey by motors.co.uk found some 75 per cent of vehicle owners chat with their set of wheels.
Of those, 44 per cent said they occasionally conversed with their cars and 31 per cent admitted they were continually gabbing to their auto.
Marketing manager Katie Armitage suggested it is understandable that individuals who regularly find themselves behind the wheel - such as employees who drive during the course of their professional duties - end up chatting to their vehicles.
She stated: "With many people spending several hours a day travelling to work, it's not surprising that more people seem to be talking to their cars."
A previous poll by motors.co.uk also highlighted the affection Brits have for their vehicles.
It found 90 per cent of motorists would describe their first car as being more memorable than their first kiss.
