Company car repairs 'to improve'
Fleet operators looking to secure a servicing contract with garages for the maintenance and repair of company cars will be able to rest assured that they are getting a good deal.
At least that is the view of Motor Codes, which has claimed that the implementation of the Motor Industry Code of Practice for Service and Repair will improve standards for automotive consumers.
Some 5,000 garages have already signed up to the code, pledging to do their best to meet the needs of customers.
Motor Codes director Chris Mason commented: "The more businesses that demonstrate their commitment to this important piece of consumer protection, the greater the confidence that motorists can have in the service and repair sector."
This comes after the organisation called for motorists and fleet operators alike to respond to the levels of service they receive from garages by completing online feedback questionnaires, aimed at improving the overall sector.
