Jaguar XF named best executive car of the year
If the 2009 Fleet World Honours is anything to go by in the industry then contract hire organisations will be racing to get their hands on Jaguar's new sports saloon.
The 3.0-litre diesel Jaguar XF was named best executive car of year based on both its looks and driving experience.
Ken Rogers, editor of Fleet World commented: "[The Jaguar XF] is very much a contemporary product with all the style, luxury and performance traditionally expected from the cars bearing the badge of this charismatic mark."
He added that it is likely to be beneficial to fleet operators because residuals are good, as are the equipment levels, which he described as "generous".
Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz recently advised fleet organisations that by opting for a vehicle from its range of C-Class Saloon and CLS-Class models on the Mercedes-Benz Approved Used scheme, they could receive a two-year complementary servicing deal, including labour, parts and lubricants at the manufacturer's official workshops.
