It is known for its postal services, but it seems that the Royal Mail also has got the right idea when it comes to fleet solutions.
The group has been named as a business champion in the Driving for Better Business campaign by Roadsafe.
People who are involved in car leasing and vehicle hire in the UK may be interested in the steps taken to combat road risk by the Post Office.
The company has limited its van's speeds to 70 mph and more than half have speed limiters.
More than 8,000 of its motorists have completed a driver training course and all fleet drivers have done a risk assessment.
Caroline Scurr, director of the Driving for Better Business campaign, said: "Royal Mail Group has made huge strides in recent years to raise awareness of the importance of safe driving across the organisation."
The government-backed scheme has been established in an attempt to limit the amount of motorists who are killed or injured on the UK's roads while driving for their businesses.
